If you decide to mention two or three people (along with their contact details) as references, these people have to be aware that they might be asked to make a statement about you. Therefore, never neglect to ask your references' permission before including them in your CV. If you send a copy of your CV to your references, they will be reminded that they might be called upon in the future. These references can also give you useful feedback about possible weaknesses in your CV. For pr-reasons it is useful to thank your references for their cooperation when you get the job. |
