The body of a press release is divided into paragraphs following a so-called pyramid structure that is also typical of news reporting: the most important information is in front; further on you get the details, including quotes. The structure can also be called anti-climactic: right from the very beginning the journalists get to know what the story is all about. And, in line with preformulation, the same is true for the general public who will read the newspaper article based on the press release. Subtitling is an optional feature: while subtitles may serve a preformulating purpose, they make it more difficult for journalists to select from the press release.
